James Bond Theme Song Intros, Part 3

The 1980s

Oh the 80s, with the poofy hair, shoulder pads, and work out videos.

For Your Eyes Only 1981

Starring: Roger Moore, Julian Glover, and Carole Bouquet.

uuhh no. Didn’t even like the song. Don’t know if I’ll want to see the movie either.

“For Your Eyes Only”: Composed by Bill Conti and Michael Leeson. Performed by Sheena Easton.

Octopussy 1983

Starring: Roger Moore and Maud Adams.

Haven’t seen the movie. Video is weird. Song is just ok.

“All Time High”: Composed by John Barry, Tim Rice, and Stephen Short. Performed by Rita Coolidge.

A View to a Kill 1985

Starring: Roger Moore, Tanya Roberts, Grace Jones, and Christopher Walken.

5 out of 10 stars

I watched half of this movie. First and so far only Roger Moore/ James Bond movie I’ve seen. I thought it was just too ridiculous and far fetched unrealistic (even for a Bond film).

Now we’re talking… I like Duran Duran and this song. The video is ok.

“A View to a Kill”: Composed by John Barry and Duran Duran. Performed by Duran Duran.

The Living Daylights 1987

Starring: Timothy Dalton and Maryam d’Abo.

I’ve seen a about less than half of this movie. I liked it. Just that every time it was on cable it was already halfway through or something. I did like Timothy Dalton though.

A-ha… brings back more 80’s memories (Take on Me music video was better than this opening)

“The Living Daylights”: Composed by John Barry and Pål Waaktaar. Performed by A-ha.

Licence to Kill 1989

Starring: Timothy Dalton, Carey Lowell, Robert Davi, and Talisa Soto.

Might of seen just small parts of this one too. Don’t remember.

Song is good. Video is just ok.

“Licence to Kill”: Composed by Narada Michael Walden, Jeffrey Cohen, Walter Afanasieff. Performed by Gladys Knight.
