James Bond Theme Song Intros, Part 4

James Bond Theme Song Intros, Part 4

The 1990s

The 90s. My high school years… the music from these movies brought a lot of nostalgia.

GoldenEye 1995

7 out of 10 stars

I’ve seen bits and pieces of this that could acumulate to saying that I’ve watched the whole thing. I did really like Pierce Brosnan as James Bond

Staring Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. Izabella Scorupco and Famke Janssen (X-Men) And Sean Bean as 006. And Dame Judi Dench as M.

The character was reportedly modeled on Dame Stella Rimington, the real-life head of MI5 between 1992 and 1996. Dench became the first woman to portray M, succeeding Robert Brown.

Judi was the best M in my opinion.

“GoldenEye”: Composed by Bono and The Edge. Performed by Tina Turner.

Tomorrow Never Dies 1997

7 out of 10

Stars: Pierce Brosnan, Jonathan Pryce, and Michelle Yeoh.

“Tomorrow Never Dies”: Composed by Sheryl Crow and Mitchell Froom. Performed by Sheryl Crow.

The World Is Not Enough 1999

7 out of 10 stars

Stars: Pierce Brosnan, Sophie Marceau, and Robert Carlyle (I’m loving him as Rumpelstiltskin in the Once Upon a Time tv show).

“The World Is Not Enough”: Composed by David Arnold and Don Black. Performed by Garbage.

  1. Goldeneye was definitely my favorite of this series – movie and song! Bono, The Edge AND Tina Turner?!! Pierce Brosnan brought class back to Bond after Roger Moore made a mockery of the franchise. Thanks again for the memories.
