The Worst of Made-For-TV Christmas Movies
A Guilty Pleasure of mine (if you haven’t noticed) is watching some made-for-tv movies from channels like Hallmark and Lifetime tv. Being that there’s so many of these movies on so many of my favorite channels, I’m just listing off some of the older movies (2014 and older) that are being aired during the week.
Worst Christmas Movies from Dec 6th to Dec 12th
The ratings for these are not positive stars, but how many Eye Roll counts (5/5). The more Eye Rolls, the worse it gets.
(1) Snow Bride 3/5 Eye Rolls
Only notable star IMO: Patricia Richardson (Home Improvement).
(2) Finding Christmas 4/5 Eye Rolls
I liked Trading Christmas more, which is the same plot, but the story is by Debbie Macomber.
(3) A Boyfriend For Christmas 4/5 Eye Rolls
Corny Insta-Love Romance.
(4) The Christmas Spirit 3/5 Eye Rolls
Bland. The only saving Grace this movie had was Olympia Dukakis. She was the only good thing about this movie.
(5) A Carol Christmas 5/5 Eye Rolls
Stars Tori Spelling. Despite having Daddy’s help, Tori still can’t act. At all!
(1) Three Days 3/5 Eye Rolls
Despite the fact that it stars Kristin Davis (Sex and the City) and Reed Diamond (Character actor, too many tv shows to list), I still found this movie to be bland.
(2) The Mistle-Tones 4/5 Eye Rolls
Another movie with the very bad actress, Tori Spelling. It’s not 5 Eye Rolls because it also stars Tia Mowry (Sister, Sister).
(3) Snowglobe 3/5 Eye Rolls
A snow globe transports a woman into a holiday winter wonderland.. Sounds good right? Well the plot was, but the writing was bad.
(1) The Christmas Hope 3/5 Eye Rolls
Despite Madeleine Stowe starring in this, I found the movie dull, and the script writing bad.
(2) Crazy for Christmas 4/5 Eye Rolls
Boring, predictable and poor script writing.
(1) A Christmas Wedding Date 3/5 Eye Rolls
(2) Back to Christmas 4/5 Eye Rolls
Worse than Groundhogs Day. The Angel Ginny, that helps out Ali, admits that it’s worse at one point.
(3) All I Want for Christmas 5/5 Eye Rolls
A rip-off from What Women Want (stars Mel Gibson), the main characters are even in advertising too. Oh and this stars Tom Arnold, which explains why it’s 5 Eye Rolls.
(4) A Christmas Twister 5/5 Eye Rolls and DNF
A Casper Van Dien B-movie
Too dull and didn’t like any of the characters, so I didn’t finish watching this. Not worth it I thought.
