Hello everyone. Please forgive my absence here. I have had quite a busy month so far. I was hoping to get some more blog posts done last week but I think I only accomplished one or so posts. Before this crazy month I was posting almost every day, which is a lot, but I was having fun doing that. And I was having even more fun interacting with all you bloggers. Daily Topic Day 2: Pick your favorite BrontΓ« novel

As I have said in my post from Day 1, I haven’t read that many books by the BrontΓ«’s. I only recall reading Wuthering Heights by EmilyΒ BrontΓ«.

Michelle - Bronte book

I am currently reading the Dover edition to the BrontΓ« Sister‘s collection of Poems. The book is called Best Poems of the BrontΓ« Sisters, featuring 47 poems by all three sisters. Their poetry is really great. I am in awe at these poems right now.

Here’s a little something from one of them:

β€œI love the silent hour of night,
For blissful dreams may then arise,
Revealing to my charmed sight
What may not bless my waking eyes.”
― Anne BrontΓ«, Best Poems of the BrontΓ« Sisters

I highly recommend reading some of these poems. They are lovely.

Daily Topic Day 1: Why do you love the BrontΓ«s?

The Bronte Family by Patrick Branwell Bronte

The BrontΓ« family consisted with 5 sisters and their brother. The two eldest lived to be about 10 years old, which is sad, but the way things were at the time in the 19th Century. The other BrontΓ« children lived to be about 30 years old (Charlotte being the only one to live up to 39 y.o.). My grandpa’s mother’s family had a lot of family members that died at a young age, some even just babies. This all was before and during World War I and when tuberculosis was a major cause of death. Monday Mayhem Apr 18th

Charlie Brown Monday

Monday Mayhem

Ahh Monday. Ok week, bring it on. Let’s see what this week has planned out for me, shall we? I’m just hoping to get a chance to do some more reading and some “Me Time.” So hopefully this week won’t be chaotic. *knocks on wood.

Snap out of it Moonstruck

I’m still recovering from my favorite hockey teams loss last night. I am seriously tempted to go to the players and give them a Cher slapping with the “Snap out of it!” comment (thinking of Moonstruck here. Great movie). Seriously boys! So I don’t need more drama thanks to the intense games that the Anaheim Ducks have put me through. But I’m still cheering for you guys non the less. #GoDucks

Let's Go Ducks

Ok. Here’s what is going on this week (besides my hope that the Ducks start winning!)
